Love what KDB has brought to this club.....but today was not his best. Saying that, a number of players were nowhere near their best. Was there an element of “over confidence“ from the start?. Hey ho ...we are still 11 points in the clear. The job is almost done considering where we are in terms of games played. We will kick on from this.

KDB is clearly struggling, Sterling never shows up against the Rags,

Foden and Bernardo should have been on the second we went 2 down.

Without Bernardo and Foden or Gundogan up front our press was non existent.

Pep worried about the opposition rather than playing to our strengths.

He didn’t worry about the opposition he gave them a huge helping hand, all so he could play his pet players.

He has a philosophy and doesn’t compromise it for the opposition or occasion. He’s always been that way. It’s all about systems not individuals, opponents or occasions.

He always maintains this even in the build up to the derby. It is hardly a shock.

Yeah, I’m not overly fussed about us losing tonight. City have been class for two months solid. It’s shit that United have beaten us, but we’re going to piss the league and have got a chance to win every cup possible. Let them have their night, fuck them. We’ll move on and win some silverware.

We gave a needless pen away fucked our rhythm and then sleepwalked through that first half. Then letting shaw run the length of the pitch for their second.... I just don’t get it. KDB never deserved a place and Bernie and Phil needed from the first minute, and wouldn't have started Raz either. That was nothing short of embarrassing. Champions league exit last year all over again. We suddenly played absolutely shite when it mattered, and the team was all kinds of wrong.

Oh well, the fat lass hasn't sung yet, or even warmed up. 11 points ahead is still a decent chunk with 10 games left. We just can't blow it now. But FFS Pep, what the hell was that ? That team selection looked clueless. Hate bashing the guy given he's one of the best managers ever, but seriously ..... what the fuck was that ? I wouldn't even care if he saw what was happening and changed it early, but as usual he sat on his arse watching it slip further and further away.

Onwards and upwards. It's only one game, but losing to that pile of wank and throwing our records away to such a piss poor team really is unforgivable. If you can't outsmart that little Norwegian Troll and his basic tactics, you need a whack on the head. We should have seriously twatted them lot today.

Rant over. On to the next game. Just pray this hasn't suddenly messed our heads up. Would hate it to get back to a close title race.

We struggled to break down both teams already this season?

Fulham will be a very tough game next Saturday night.

The most disappointing aspect is the disconnect between the importance of these games to the fans and the manager / team

The most worrying aspect is that this is exactly how we played at the start of the season when were turgid, slow, predictable and quite frankly fucking awful.

Jesus god bless him ain’t our number 1 striker and clearly Aguero is now struggling so we have to bust the bank for an Aguero replacement

Nonsense. You watched him at all these past few months? Unfortunately we reverted to last season today by having fuck all control of the game.

Cancelo is instructed to step into midfield and it generally works. It doesn’t work however when within seconds of us regaining possession, KDB or any of the other forwards fucking punt the ball straight to the opposition leaving him stranded in midfield.

Same goes for Rodri and Gundo. If we don’t control the pace of the game it plays to our weaknesses.

Did you see him attempt to beat 3 players in his own box because he has no left foot? Or his pathetic attempt at intercepting the goalies throw to shaw by standing wrong side and taking himself completely out of the game.

Cancelo is a grand attacking full back. He is a terrible defender and the fact is masked by how dominant we have been. Any pressure at all and folds like a cheap suit

For how good Cancelo has been he was diabolical today and weak as piss. Surely Walker plays when you play a team who rely on pace.
Our front 3 are a feeble joke.
Jesus awful and no instinct, Sterling (see the player thread) and Mahrez does his usual couple of ok games and then reverts to his shit house ways.
How the fuck Foden is sat on the bench again to see Sterling ahead of him is beyond me.
While we will more than likely win the league, people are dreaming if they think half of this lot can compete with the best in Europe.
This winning run was always gonna end when we don’t create enough and when we do we piss chances away.

We gave all those wins appreciation. Now it is time to dicect what went wrong. To me the team selection was wrong, and from the start it made the difference.
Anyhoo, onto the next one. You just know City will win it and Utd will lose, it's how they roll... this game is their cup final now!!
