Only seen a few pages but as ever, when we lose, the idiots come out to play.

It's always annoying to lose; especially to the Rags but the extremity and plain stupidity of some of the comments is sad to see.

Yes, I'd have picked a slightly different team but we had 23 shots and didn't score.

KDB is clearly struggling, Sterling never shows up against the Rags,

Foden and Bernardo should have been on the second we went 2 down.

Foden, Bernardo & Aguero should've started. I was disappointed when I saw the team sheet.
We were complacent in the game. Utd took their chances we didn't even though we had more. We all know thats football it happens.
We still had more than enough shots & chances though even before Foden came on & especially after to get at least 2 goals. Just not our day, we didn't have our shooting boots on. We bad to have an off day sooner or later 28 games unbeaten ffs & 21 straight wins.
It's just a pisser its against them gobshites. It was their cup Final just like it used to be Citys when we were not winning Silverware. Shows u how far the rags have dropped when their biggest achievement is beating City.
Like Souness said it's a reminder for us not to take our foot of the gas & to keep alert. Hopefully we will kick on now & win at least 2 trophies.
Fuck them we will be Champions & the gap will be bigger than it is now.

Bad day at the office, that early penalty set the tone, and we couldn't change it. To many senior players were poor, but we have to keep the faith, and stay positive, we will bounce back.

I don't think there was any chance we won 42 games in a row, or even go 49 unbeaten which is what we needed to do to win the quadruple and not lose in the league.

Sooner or later a loss was going to happen and I'm glad it was in the league and not the CL quarter final or FA Cup or at Wembley to give Spurs silverware.

Obviously you'd rather it was against almost anyone else but United, but realistically it was going to have to be someone near the top of the table. IMO (and I've said it on here) there's been an air of overcomplicating and complacency to some performances since the Spurs game and after 2 near misses, we finally dropped points.

If we'd scragged a win today, we probably would have had our bad game against Monchengladbach, or Everton and it'd cost us a trophy.

Jesus isn't good enough. Cancelo has been fantastic but he and KDB give the ball away far too much which means we're constantly transitioning against United who's biggest threat is the counter.

We was always going to lose a game of football, which would get the monkey of our back from the media about records. But to go to chelsea, Arsenal, Everton, Klanfield and win them all, for us to lose to this shower of shit with Noddy as a coach is...well quite galling to say the least.

Our football deserves a world class forward to fill their boots with goals galore.
Why we persevere with Sterling as a makeshift number 9 at times is just mind blowing.
Sergio could of scored those 2 chances with a blindfold on such is his natural ability to finish.

That was 100% on team selection. Jesus abs Sterling have never scored or performed in derbies. Neither should have started. Phil and Bernardo should both have played with KDB false nine.
The moment they scored I knew we were in trouble. We gave a counter attacking side a goal lead while we started with a team without a natural goal scorer.

Hard to argue with any of that. I am far from Walker's biggest fan but I was certain he MUST start against a fast counter-attacking team. I was gobsmacked when I saw we'd have Mahrez and Zinchenko defending against Rashford and James. WTF was he thinking???

Kev grew into the game but was woeful first 30 mins. We needed a bit of bite and we’d have gotten more of that from Foden and/or Bernardo
