I think Chicago is my favourite city over here, I just love the vibe up there. The only thing stopping me moving up there is that fact that its fooking baltic in the winter :)

We currently live in a upscale tourist area right in the middle of the bible belt which has become a right pain in the arse, especially as rednecks and right wing republicans get on my tits. Will be looking at our options next year, but tbh its looking like Florida will be a probable final destination, the Tampa area is great.
Do you live in Branson, Missouri?

Bastard!
Never thought I'd miss chips (proper chips, not fries...) cheese and onion pie and curry sauce... :(
September 15th was my last portion.....
Not like your counting or anything like that lol

Ha ha - it was my final night in Blighty, so an easy date to remember.....
a few final beers in town with friends, and then into Leo's while waiting for the 89 bus home!

Nice area. I forget that SC is part of the bible belt.

Done the west and southwest a few times. Love the desert areas......so alien to us.

Loved Colarado and Utah too. New York City is a cool place, and have done Florida, without a single theme park!

Toss up between Maine/New England or The Deep South next....?

Definitely New England... The deep south offers virtually nothing (excluding New Orleans) I'm from Texas and don't consider it apart of the South because it really is its own culture completely.

Seek hard enough, and ye shall find :D
Loads of beautiful women there, Savannah is a hot spot.

I've been to Florida, Vegas, and the Grand Canyon and surrounding areas. Scottsdale is a good place to visit.

I love going on holiday there, even though customs and airport security is such a hassle. However, I couldn't live there.

Emigrated there years ago and i love living there. Settled in Missouri which is perfect for us as i like green and textured land, we like the outdoor life. Traveled around Texas, Florida, Arkansas, Louisiana, Tennessee, Illinois and lived in a few places, small towns and close to big cities, much prefer the rural towns. Never been to New York or Vegas, not arsed ether, they do not appeal. Did Orlando for a while, great climate but it was too flat for me and too many tourists. Have met a lot of really good, hard working, generous people and have met some knobs too. Have been back here for a while but i cant wait to get back at the end of this year, i would really struggle having to live here permanent again now.
