To be fair, Rasher Chops has a point. Until last season they'd won a major trophy in every season with a CL final thrown in. The problem is where and when does that tipping point take effect.

Many teams lay down and allow them to be trampled on knowing that either they are wasting their time or the manager will get it in the neck. Last season specifically, teams slowly began to change their outlook, especially once they realised that United had their quota of dubious decisions filled.

The Glazer's have been good for United on the field as they know this is the only way to keep the pennies rolling in. Where they've failed is to not sort the debt out as they'd previously envisaged and that may be where it all goes wrong.

They have had quite a few seasons without a major trophy?

Have they? I'll let you take the lead on that one as it's the thing that gets you wet.

Haha.

Eric Cantona 'kung fu kicked coffee table after Manchester United lost title'

By Paul Byrne |

Eric Cantona Kung Fu kicked a coffee table after watching Manchester United lose their Premier League title last season.

His son Raphael revealed his dad’s torment to a United fan in Barcelona.

He said the pair had watched the season’s climax on TV and thought the Reds had held on to the title as rivals Manchester City were being held at home by QPR.

But City’s Sergio Aguero scored a winner with just seconds left to hand the Premier League trophy to the Sky Blues on goal difference.

Raphael, 23, said his dad, famed for his Kung Fu attack on Crystal Palace fan Matthew Simmons in 1995, kicked out at the coffee table.

He told United supporter Jonathan Cruise: “It smashed to pieces. My dad was angry and upset. He still adores United and we thought they were going to hang on to the title.”

Jonathan, 21, from Manchester, met Raphael outside a club in Barcelona.

He said: “It was about 2am and I had gone outside for a cigarette. A guy kindly asked me for a cigarette so I gave him one and he then asked me where I was from.

“When I said ‘from Manchester’ he smiled. He went on to ask me if I was a blue or a red and when I said ‘red’ he smiled even more.

“He went on to say ‘my father is the king in Manchester’ and when I asked what he meant he said his dad was Eric Cantona.

He went on to tell me what had happened on the last day of the season with a big grin on his face.

“He said the coffee table just disintegrated onto the carpet and we had a laugh at what had happened.

“I told him it was a pleasure to meet Cantona’s son and we shook hands.

“When we got back to England we checked his Facebook account and there is no doubt it was definitely Raphael. He was a sound guy.

“It shows just how passionate his dad still is about United.”

Have they? I'll let you take the lead on that one as it's the thing that gets you wet.
The season Mourinho joined Chelsea 04/05, Chelsea won the league and League cup, Arsenal won the FA Cup.
1997/98 Arsenal won the double and Chelsea won the league cup.
2001/02 Arsenal won the double, Blackburn won the league cup
