Re: We are planning for life after Ferguson

He'll retire when they win the league again, that is how his ego works. So if they win it this season he will not risk us or Chelsea getting it back the next season and will retire. If they don't win it this season he'll keep going and if success eludes them will risk the fate of his mentor Jock Stein (R.I.P.).

i can see it now tagart to retire end of season and that creepy son of his installed as No1, to think we would have to endure another 30 years worth is unthinkable taking me to the ripe age of 80

The wife beater would be a cracking appointment because he's an absolutely shit manager. (Take a look where Peterborough are right now). Unfortunately that's why it'll never happen.

Solskjaer has to be in the frame.

i think he might go next year,

i think buy van persie had a touch of desperation about it

Good job the did buy him or they would be well behind us
Quite so. Looking at their results he's got them 7 points this season so far.

A goal in the 3-2 win over Fulham, a hat-trick in the 3-2 win over Southhampton and the winning goal at Liverpool. Without those goals/points they'd be in 10th place now.

let hope a recurrence of an old injury doesnt befall him.

Thats my thinking, at least there is a silver lining if they do win the league/CL.

Edward Woodward (thought he was filming Callum, theres one for the kids) rag vice chairman says the list is drawn up and in the safe at the swamp, bet theres no money in it though with the Glazers pledging to stay.
I recon it goes like this, Mourinho, Gollum, Solskjaer and dare i say it, Mancini

Mourinho's not a long term manager. I know there aren't many that are long term in the modern game, but after rasherchops I would have thought they'd be looking at a young hungry manager who could be in place for a long period

gollum does indeed fit the bill a decent manager on a shoe string and the fact being an ugly fuk should ensure he blends in with the suroundings
