Crouch don't even defend it mate. With the amount of bullshit penalties they get constantly, I'd just revel in their misery.

We are due a rub of the green from them, even though I don't think we got any special treatment at all.

Good win against the Arseholes by the way. Heard you were hanging on at the end, missed the match, too busy having 40 winks!

We dominated them like a conference side in the first half, then Rafa had his team talk. For that first half they were shockingly dire and Mata/Hazard/Oscar just tore them to pieces.

Manchester United acquires BskyB’s one-third stake in MUTV

LONDON: Manchester United today announced the acquisition of the one-third minority equity stake in Manchester United Television (‘MUTV’) from BskyB (Sky). MUTV is now a wholly-owned group subsidiary.

As part of its long-term digital media plans, Manchester United has made the strategic acquisition of Sky’s stake in MUTV in order to own 100% of the content production and distribution capabilities of this business.

MUTV was launched in 1998 as a three-way joint venture, with UK broadcasters ITV and Sky as equal partners. Since then, MUTV has developed considerable in-house expertise and Manchester United bought ITV’s one-third equity stake in November 2007. This latest acquisition is a natural progression and is indicative of the Club’s desire to have full control of the content generating and distribution capabilities across all of its businesses.

MUTV is available in 57 countries around the world. It is accessed in the UK and Ireland by subscription on satellite and cable platforms; and in the rest of the world through a combination of subscription or as programming blocks purchased by international broadcasters.

Richard Arnold, Commercial Director of Manchester United, said: “The acquisition of Sky’s stake is great news for all of our fans who watch us around the globe, MUTV, its staff and the Club.

“We look forward to continuing to enhance our media proposition and distribution capabilities in the years to come; and delivering some of the best and most compelling content to our 659m followers.

“Sky has been an active and highly-valued partner since the channel’s inception and has helped to build the best and most watched club football channel in the world. We will continue to have a close relationship with Sky in the future.”

MUTV employs approximately 60 staff and currently operates from offices in central Manchester, a studio at Carrington (the Club’s training ground) and from facilities within Old Trafford stadium.

The poll was presumably taken outside the swamp or in a selection of pubs on a rag matchday. I wonder which team the other 29.6% support?
Which paper is this, the other team is surely the rags reserve team....

Don't you mean FC United...

I notice they've conveniently cut it off at the point where it says ''the reds are even third best backed team in LONDON''... now that I can believe.

Do they think that, by continually stating they have 659m fans/supporters/followers/customers, people will start to actually believe it?! Look at this logically, 659m people is basically 10% of all the human beings ON THE PLANET. Is it really even slightly likely that 10% of all humans alive today is a Manchester United fan? If you removed Germany then the population of the other 46 European nations combined would be the same as the total number of United fans. That's the populations of Russia, France, the UK, Italy, Spain, Ukraine, Poland, Romania, Holland, Greece, Belgium, Portugal, Czech Rep, Hungary, Serbia, Belarus, Sweden, Austria, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Denmark, Slovakia, Finland, Norway, Rep of Ireland, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Moldova, Lithuania, Albania, Latvia, Macedonia, Slovenia, Estonia, Cyprus, Montenegro, Luxembourg, Malta, Iceland, Andorra, the Isle of Man, Faroe Islands, Liechtenstein, Monaco, San Marino, Gibraltar and the Vatican City!
