United thread 2013/14 (continued)

Funny post on Red Cafe where United fan complainsabout the dreadful time they were going through (ie 7th in Prem with a clueless manager) and finding solace and congratulating himself and other forum members for being such great fans for being so patient.

He went on to say that Chelsea and CITY fans would not have been so good about this.

So their 6 or 7 months of "suffering" of not being in a European Champions League Qualification place equates to nearly 40 years of pain and numerous relegations - seriously????

It still seems to be an involuntary reflex that everything about them and their club is the best even if they are now starting to realise that the table is telling the truth about how poor the current team/squad/manager is.

I think a prolonged spell in the Wilderness will be very good for them indeed!

The genius reviewing the papers on Talkshite earlier in the week agreed with Brazil that United would be favourites for 4th place as the momentum was with them, completely ignoring that Liverpool had gubbed Everton. All that had happened at OT was that olle gunner had rolled over and had his tummy tickled.

Ok, prediction time.

David Moyes will resign on Monday.

Tomorrow, the papers are going to carry the headline : "Moyes: I don't know what we need to do to win".

This is going to be the last straw for the Glazers. Moyes has just signed his own death warrant. The Glazers are buisness men, who have sat on their hands watching this cretin single handedly dismantle their investment. In fact they have even given him £80m to boot. At any other club, Moyes would have been sacked months ago after this season of incompetence. But unfortunately, SAF has nailed his colours to the "give him time" mast, and the PR department has been full on with the "Manchester United way" bollocks and the "we do things differently here" (aka better) here. What a mess, but what to do??? Can't sack the twat or we will look like complete hypocrites and fools and then there's also SAF who is desperately trying to hang on to Wee Davey, or else he looks like a complete arse for giving him the job in the first place.

The ONLY solution is that Moyes resigns. So conversations will take place, phone calls and meetings and Monday he will be summonsed into the office for a meeting with the board. He will br given two options; either resign and be given a generous payoff, or be sacked. It's a no brainer for Moyes and he will step down. Secretly, he'll be pleased. He knows he is way out of his depth and it will be a load off his mind.

The club can give it the spiel about he disappointed they are, but thank him for his tremendous contribution etc etc. Moyes can say some shit about family reasons or whatever, or just say its been agreed in the interests of all parties. Whatever.

8 defeats already and still to play us, Liverpool, Everton, Arsenal etc. Left alone, he won't get them 6th, let alone 4th. Any fool can see it. That he must go is beyond doubt and the only questions how and when. But personally I can't see him making it to the end of the season, so why wait. And that quote above "I don't know what we need to do to win", I think gives them all the incentive to do it now. Gone by Monday.

Love the post Chippy Boy and agree with the fundamental thought processes and sentiments but sacking 'Wee Davey' or 'Wee Davey' resigning would be a disaster in the overall scheme of things.

This is for all those cunts on twitter and Facebook that have "let's all laugh at city" on their profiles or bios whatever you fucking call them , and I'm loving every second of this, and I'm laughing right back at you
Same for me. Fuck every last one of them. I absolutely love that 'chosen one' banner. It should stay up not because of Moyes, but to remind everyone what a bunch of self deluded arrogant cunts they are. Chosen One - can they quite literally not see how fucking arrogant that is?

So, like you Cheadle, I'm reveling in their pain. I'm not waiting until the end of the season as i remember every fucking jibe about '34' years, or 6 points every season, or that **** Neville celebrating in front of our fans, or ickle Citeh, or noisy neighbours etc, etc. Therefore I'm going in right now with all guns fucking blazing. Cunts, every last one of them, even the 'good' ones.

It's a great time to be a blue... To be fair it's great being anything but a scum fan at present

I reckon the role reversal MUFC OK song is the song to sing if we pan them at the swamp.

My fave

The best one of the lot, IMHO.

8) Wilfried Zaha, given the grand total of 1 sub appearance to prove himself, sent on loan. More assists in 52 minutes for a relegation threatened team than Young and Valencia have managed between them ALL season.
