which player would make it into the city first eleven or the chelsea and arsenal squad,

the only players i would even think about are rooney, rvp and de gea and the first two, one been injured more than he`s been fit over the last 10 years and rooney will be one fat fuck before he`s 30 and probably washed up imo
De Gea and RVP would make a combined team. Rooney, Vidic, Smalling, Carrick, Rafael would at least get into the squad.

As for Chelsea, Rooney, RVP, De Gea, Rafael and Carrick would all get into their team.

A combined team would look something like this.

De Gea
Rafael Cahill Terry Cole/Dave
Carrick Ramires
Rooney Oscar Hazard
RVP

A combined team with Arsenal would have

De Gea
Rafael Mertersecker Koscielny Gibbs
Carrick Ramsay
Rooney Ozil Carzola/Walcott/Wilshere
RVP

And that is with Vidic being poor this year. Usually I would expect Vidic to make both their teams.

People here rightly laugh and joke about the ridiculous hype Jones and Januzaj get. It's embarrassing and they don't deserve half as much attention. I would even say Nastasic is not only currently a better player than Jones, but also the greater talent whist being a year younger. In fact it is shocking just how little attention Nastasic gets. That being said Jones and Januzaj are still great talents.EDIT
As for RVP only having one good season it must be due to nobody watching Arsenal a couple of years ago. That's the only way I can explain the lack of respect Wilshere gets. Suarez quite rightly gets a lot of praise for his something like 29 goals in 28 games in 2013. RVP got 35 goals in 37 games in a calendar year.

I rememnber the same thing being said about Zaha...( the palace one)
And Zaha is still a great talent. He has just turned 21. Moyes is not exactly the greatest manager in the world or the best at trusting young talent. How many opportunities did Barkley get. I have always said that Zaha had the potential to start for a title challenging team. He is very unlikely to be as good as someone like Hazard, but could be as good as Duff or Navas.

The only reason I can see Zaha being compared with Duff, is the Duff he's been splashing over Moyes daughters face.

wouldn't see me swapping navas for hazard, he's a lazy little shit and a pain in the arse.

yet he seems to trust that diving **** jzzy and Zaha doesnt get a look in.....

-----------------------De gea-----------------
Rafael---------Mertersecker----- Koscielny-------- Gibbs
--------------------Ramsay----------Wiltshere----------------
Carzola/Walcott----------Rooney------------Ozil-----
----------------------------RVP------------------------------

That would be the combined team between the rags and arse.

This is not true at all. Mourinho does not allow for any player to be lazy at Chelsea. Hazard has been working damn hard this year. Tracking back and doing his defensive duty.

-- Thu Jan 02, 2014 7:30 pm --

Except Ramsay and Wilshere together is too attacking and you want someone more defensive there. That's why Wenger nearly always plays one of Flamini or Arteta there.

Januzaj is a better player and more talented. Zaha is very raw and will lose the ball quite often at the moment. He is likely to go on loan soon. Let's see how he does when he actually gets to play a few games in the Premiership.

Hmm, De Gea better than Cech? (Or even Cortouis?) I'm not sure about that. Also I would say that it's a coin toss between Rafael and Ivanovic/Azpilicueta.

In the Arsenal team, I'm not so sure that Carrick would get into their midfield. I don't think this is a good way of deciding how good United are because though they have several very good players, those players are also surrounded by pretty poor players (Valencia, Young, and Cleverley for example) whereas in the Arsenal and Chelsea teams there are quality players in nearly every position. Plus Arsenal and Chelsea have two of the best managers in the world which makes a big difference.

There was a rag on the caf who says Carrick is a better player than Yaya.
