I'd be very surprised if he was skiing as no footballer is allowed to do that.

He was with his little boy. Granted not speeding down the Alps but was still skiing with a thigh injury.

Footballers are simply not allowed to do potentially dangerous sports like skiing, certainly not someone at his level. It would be in his contract for sure. Who saw him and where? If it was him then that's basically two-fingers to Moyes & the rags.

It's why lots of footballers play golf and snooker - you can't break your leg at them so you are not contractually prevented from doing so.

It's not just the contract between the club and the player that is the problem - the insurance contract the club has will also have similar clauses.

Someone said earlier that we should get a banner made with the chosen one on it but with the addition of a counter to their imminent demise. Its the end of the world as we know it and i feel fine, REM. My favourite tune at the moment

Never going to happen as City are far too classy and much less obsessed than the rag scum to have such at banner at the Etihad. That said would I love to see a photo-shopped version of their banner saying something like 'You Chose Wrong' or 'The Wrong Choice', doing the rounds.

If I was a cynic, I'd say baconface was doing this deliberately to force the Glazers out of the club and sell it just to cut their losses. A new group comes in to buy it, headed by the old soak himself.

I did wonder about that myself. The Glazers forced out and he comes riding in at the head of the Red Knights.
