Former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is appointed as Uefa's coaching ambassador.
"Sir Alex will be chairman of the forum of elite coaches that meet every year. He will also be a member of the technical study group of the Champions League and the European Championship," explains Uefa president Michel Platini.
Ferguson retired in the summer after leading United to 13 league title and two European Cups. He has regularly watched his old side, now led by David Moyes, since stepping down.

He's rejoining and playing for free to rescue them.adrianr said:Michael Owen seems to think there will be a further surprise for rags beyond the Mata transfer, though I doubt it's another player coming in, as of course United nor certainly it's fans would ever entertain buying the league.
