It makes me laugh when you hear rag fans say they need to spend £100,000,000 on their defence, when the money they have spent already has made them worse.

It's going to be highly amusing over the next few weeks for us, when you consider their fixtures over the next few weeks, and we see their results.

Without looking at the stats (can't be arsed) is their defense really that bad?

All their flukey wins this season seem to have been 1-0 or 2-1 so they don't actually seem to be conceding that many?

With all the money they spent on attacking players I would have expected to see them scraping a lot of 3-2 and 4-3 type wins if they really had such a crap defense.

The reason they're shit in attack is because their defence needs so much cover. You don't need amazing defenders to have a good defensive record, you just need to set up your team to play boring football. And they've definitely succeeded with that.

The reason they're shit in attack is because their defence needs so much cover. You don't need amazing defenders to have a good defensive record, you just need to set up your team to play boring football. And they've definitely succeeded with that.

And they have the best goalkeeper around at the moment. He's been the difference between nil points and 3 for a scrappy win in several games in their run to the top 4.

a) likely to stay there in the long term
b) the decline is even expected at the club
c) scum can't keep up with us and Chelsea, and soon add Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool to the list
d) scum fans asked to be happy with not winning the league
