Louis van Gaal: Man Utd boss says Man City in 'rat race'

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal believes Manchester City are being sucked into the "rat race" for the top four Premier League places.
United beat Tottenham 3-0 on Saturday to close the gap on City to two points after their shock defeat by Burnley .
"It is a rat race and we are now two points from second position," Van Gaal said after the win kept United fourth.
"So whether they (Man City) want that or don't want that, that is the position. They are in it."
He added: "It is good for us, good for the fans and good for the media because there will be lots of things to write about."
Chelsea are six points clear of City at the top - but Arsenal are now only one point adrift of Manuel Pellegrini's side, while Liverpool could move to within four with victory at Swansea City on Monday night (20:00 GMT kick-off).

United will finish outside top 4 this season. We'll still be challenging for the title. Er, I hope!
