Re: United get a seat at the top table of world football

Every time I hear his name I think about a conversation I had with a friend of mine who coaches at the rags.

Apparently, just before Gill left his full time role to go and work at UEFA there was some kind of event on at the rags with David Gill answering questions to employees/coaches and interestingly one of the questions brought up was along the lines of "When you start the new job are you going to stop City?" and apparently he smirked and said very deliberately "oh, yes".

The past few years since then have led me to believe my friend was telling the truth.

So FIFA vice president, UEFA executive, FA Vice Chairman and rag director. Nothing dodgy going on here then.

Yet some have the cheek to say our sponsors are dodgy. I can't believe he can have them roles while still being involved with United.

Seeing Murray yesterday made me think of the Falcao situation. Obviously different levels, but similar situations. In great form scoring lots of goals and then did their ACL's. It's taken him a year and has had to go on loan to clubs at a lower level much like Murray did. Maybe like Murray he can return back to his normal level at his old club after the summer.

Doffs cap to Crystal..... can't believe nobody picked up on that, very subtle haha!
