Jesus! If our bottle merchant players would have realised the headlines their capitulation on Sunday would have created i am sure they would have tried harder!

Here are just a few: ''Mourinho?Koeman? No chance! Van Gaal should be crowned manager of the year after wonders at United!'' Adrian Durham no surprises there then.

''United are kings of the city again and will be title contenders next season under Van Gaal. Cantona.

''We knew some of City's players were not great at tracking back and we made them pay for it!'' Rooney.

Can a couple of teams in the next six games please show the bollocks we didn't and put these absolute shower of shite back into their box please!!!!!!

That Adrian Durham article has to be wind-up, surely? It is just about the funniest thing I have ever read from a so-called professional journalist. It's either a parody of unrivalled genius, or the most pathetically brown-nosing, obsequious, shoddy, biased pile of shite I've ever seen.

Probably a bit of both, considering what a WUM he is.

The have had their moment of glory this season, and at this moment sit above us in the table - that for them is now something to celebrate and I find it all quite hilarious that the tables have turned in such a way. They are revelling in the fact that they won a derby, united still have to play Chelsea, Everton and Arsenal in games I think they can drop points in quite easily which would not only allow us to overtake them but let Liverpool back in for that 4th spot.

There are going to be more twists and turns before the season ends

One good season with no European football in the way, after assembling the most expensive squad in the league - come on it ain't nothing to shout about, you can bet your last pound that had they qualified for Europe last season they would be nowhere near the top four places this season as their squad just isn't good enough. Van Gaal has had all season to focus on getting them to play for him with no distractions, and it is a mirror image of Liverpool last season

They will probably recruit come the summer but will have the added pressure of European football if results still go their way, and players like Jones, Smalling, Valencia, Fellaini, Young will be exposed as the players they are, will united clear out the whole lot of them with the supposedly players they are going to need ?? I am not so sure and even if they did, the team will have to learn to gel together but they won't have time on their hands like they have had this season.

Win a derby and the new noisy neighbours and their fans have come back out to play crowing like they have just beat us in cup final - I am glad they are at that point in their lives and rightly so

I don't know why it surprises me that it doesn't take long or much for the right royal fawning and arse kissing to start. Turtle head inherited a squad that had won the title two years previously and then spent over 150 million more on it making it the most expensive squad ever assembled in the premier league, something we rarely see mentioned eh?

They have been dogshit for most of it and fluked results and/or were saved by De Gea time and time again. They have had two good results against the dippers and us and now they are a combination of Barcelona and Real Madrid.

While last season was a joy for us we knew they would keep on spunking money at it until they improved, while looking at helping to bend the rules to widen that gap again to ensure it stays that way forever. They haven't suffered enough yet they need at least ten years of failure,at least! If there is a God then at least let their luck run out and miss out on fourth spot again. Wouldn't that be a sickener after them all crawling form their hidey holes again lol?

Wow !
I went for a nice walk along ramsgate sea front today had some chips and an ice cream............boy ! have the scum won something the shirts were out in force today, still couldnt look me in the face when they saw my City hat , just looked the other way. I havent seen so many scum for about 2yrs !

Still think we'll finish above them. Chelsea will send them packing, a win against West Ham will get their arses going.

A couple of points I'd pick up on here Paul.

Firstly, I agree that the intention is that the gap should remain that way forever. However, nothing remains the same forever and whatever they do to stay at the top will one day come back to haunt them but, more importantly, they don't need ten years of failure to suffer. They're already suffering.

Imagine the fear that must have led to the spending of quarter of a billion pounds to catch us up; imagine the fear that led them to display that banner for so many years; imagine the fear that led them to promote hastily drawn up rules to stop anyone else investing in their club; imagine the fear that means they have to put tehir "people" into every corner of every governing body to protect their interest.

Their whole edifice is constructed on fear and you see it in their fans' eyes. You can see it in the outpourings of their sycophants in the media. They have to win and to do that they have to to be the richest club and their biggest fear, the fear they have to live with every day of their sorry, sad lives is the fear of failure. As I have said before, our success has shown that there is nothing special about United, Arsenal and Liverpool. They are small-minded clubs with money driven by fear.

We've climbed from the bottom of the pile to the top of the mountain. We have nothing to fear. We've done it already, we can do it again. And the beauty of it is, knowing that makes them even more afraid.

Like a couple of posters above, I'm happy that the scum are so made up by edging above us for a week or two and scraping into the top 4. Winning mentality my arse - wankers.
