What about all the fans that travel 2-3 hours each way on the train to the matches? Most people use iPads to watch films, play games etc to make the journey more bearable. I certainly hope this stupid banning of iPads isn't going to catch on. I'm facing a round trip of 10 hours to Newcastle Sunday and I'll be taking both mine and my son's iPads to get us through the day. What am I going to do if I reach St James park and I'm refused entry bacause of my iPads? - Too expensive to leave anywhere.

...

What an absurd ruling.

You will have to ask Newcastle United what their policy is.

Big question is, have the strengthened?

Let's forget all the propaganda and have a look at the facts:

Out
Moyes, Evra, Ferdinand, Vidic, Giggs(as a player)

In
Van Gaal, Shaw and Herrera

And with more outs likely, and probably outnumbering the players coming in, they look short of players and there is a serous lack of quality players
Last season was supposed to be Moyes transitional period.

This year...

What can you call this other than huge, nay MASSIVE upheaval?

They have banned I-pads and tablets to stop fans watching sky go while the game is on.

Absolutely ridiculous rule.

The Daily Mail story says the ban is to stop videoing of the match. Video a match with an iPad? Who on earth would want to do that anyway? Too damn big for videoing, plus everyone has video capabilities on their phones. Are they going to ban phones as well?

What an absurd ruling.

This is a hilarious post and a sad indication of society today unfortunately

When you can't go 2-3 hours without a fucking iPad

Here's an idea..how about talking and taking an interest in the world outside

There used to be a world without tablets believe it or not

I despair

Herrera is the sort of player they've needed for a long time so he will make them stronger. Evra's been off the boil for years but him and Shaw will probably give about the same, so little difference there. Ferdinand and giggs are fairly minor losses but Vidic is a very big one. Van Gaal is far superior to moyes so they'll be back up there, I just hope they haven't got any more big signings although I expect they will have

Wrong link.

He's after the 'Welcome to Vanchester' photo, where the legend has been changed to 'VANKER'.

Gary Neville
FOOTBALL EXPERT

“In Chicharito, Rooney, Van Persie and Welbeck, they have still got, I think, probably the best strikers in the league as a pool."

As one of the comments at the bottom says,
'Rooney didnt score at home from end of oct til march last year, van persies dogged by injury, welbeck by no means a goalscorer of any great magnitude and hernandes doesnt play.
How can he look past Aguero, Dzeko, Jovetic and Negredo???'

Gain a bit of respect for GN of late but thats just laughable.

In other words all their striker targets have turned them down, operation convince the fans we don't need a striker commences.
