Absolutely ridiculous rule.

What about all the fans that travel 2-3 hours each way on the train to the matches? Most people use iPads to watch films, play games etc to make the journey more bearable. I certainly hope this stupid banning of iPads isn't going to catch on. I'm facing a round trip of 10 hours to Newcastle Sunday and I'll be taking both mine and my son's iPads to get us through the day. What am I going to do if I reach St James park and I'm refused entry bacause of my iPads? - Too expensive to leave anywhere.

The Daily Mail story says the ban is to stop videoing of the match. Video a match with an iPad? Who on earth would want to do that anyway? Too damn big for videoing, plus everyone has video capabilities on their phones. Are they going to ban phones as well?

What an absurd ruling.

This is a hilarious post and a sad indication of society today unfortunately

When you can't go 2-3 hours without a fucking iPad

Here's an idea..how about talking and taking an interest in the world outside

There used to be a world without tablets believe it or not

I despair

typed from my Ipad

made me LOL

Since united shares are on wall street so does that mean if wall street crashes one day United goes bankrupt?just curious :p

Unfortunately, no. They have received their benefit from the initial float and now the Glazers are beginning to liquidate their remaining holdings to hedge their risk (and attempt to squeeze even more profit out of their investment). The owners could still take a beating, mind, but most of that hit would fall on capital management companies and poor sods from Salford that managed to purchase a share or two.

Would a crash like that make things more difficult for United? Yes. But in that event I think we all would have much, much, much bigger problems, anyway, so the last thing I would care about would be the affect on the club residing just outside of Manchester.

yeh just read this. i think the recording bit is bullshit i just think they dont like people not to be watching the game and being away with the fairies. looks bad when fans are on bloody tablets. i'm with them on this.
mind you the list of banned items does go a little too far.

Banning people from bringing in drinks, unless the top has been removed is fucking disgusting.
Another ploy to squeeze money from the deluded masses.

I hope City never stoops this low.
noticed flasks are on the list .feel free to call me tight but we take 3 flasks to each game no chance of me paying nearly £7 for are half time brews 19x£7 =£133 lads season ticket is £120 basically the flask gives us free footie for the season

We always take a flask for a half-time drink too, as we can't afford the prices charged at Etihad.

Big question is, have the strengthened?

Let's forget all the propaganda and have a look at the facts:

Out
Moyes, Evra, Ferdinand, Vidic, Giggs(as a player)

In
Van Gaal, Shaw and Herrera

And with more outs likely, and probably outnumbering the players coming in, they look short of players and there is a serous lack of quality players

Herrera is the sort of player they've needed for a long time so he will make them stronger. Evra's been off the boil for years but him and Shaw will probably give about the same, so little difference there. Ferdinand and giggs are fairly minor losses but Vidic is a very big one. Van Gaal is far superior to moyes so they'll be back up there, I just hope they haven't got any more big signings although I expect they will have

Evra is another rat who has deserted the sinking ship.

He has joined Juventus.

It's finally sinking in for a few of them.

This dude [Woodward] has basically ensured that even if we become cannon-fodder for the top teams and struggle to reach the 35 point safety barrier we'll still earn more than every other club in the PL.

He will not be sacked at all.

Manchester United became a publicly traded corporation. The bottom line is all that matters now. Doesn't even matter if they hover around mid-table, so long as mid-table is more profitable than being in the CL with high-salaried players.

Our sheikh will spend everything, only restrained by FFP, because he cares about winning. Manchester United is a corporation concerned only with producing maximum profits, not winning trophies.

Woodward: We can win nothing and still sell shirts - just look at Liverpool

Rags, is it sinking in now?

Their accounts made reference to losing fans if they are shit on the pitch. Sounded like a polite way of saying a large portion of their fans are glory hunting plastics...I for one was stunned at the revelation.

Apparently rags in talks with Sporting over a deal for Marcos Rojo....who is he ? fee quoted 30m
I've read 16 million

He played wing back for Argentina in the WC, didn't think he was particularly impressive tbh.
