Much as a lot of fans think the champions league is on the whole tosh, players set great stall by it and for a top player to miss one season with no certainty they will play in it next season either is definately signing for the money.Who would have thought it eh,mecenary's only going to the biggest, bestest football club ever for the wonga, ahh how times change, lol!!
Di Maria is a great player, and will do well in the PL, but this is nothing but a panic buy to shut the media and fans up. Going forward there are still plenty of attacking options at utd, but can you see any clubs selling their best central defenders or midfielders now that the season has already kicked off. No chance. The same mistakes have been made for 2 summers on the bounce, waiting for a new manager to come in only weeks before the season kicks off, sidetrack him with a global tour and loads of injuries and expect them to produce the goods or provide suggestions for appropriate transfers. The business should have been done before the World cup and not lastminute.com
