Saw a Rat on Facebook post 'Di Maria to United, yes please' is there anything in this? I've seen no rumours of such, do they just make things up?

We will be watching from afar as they ride off into the sunset regarding turnover. Yes,we have significantly improved ours but it will always be an attempt to bridge the gap, while never getting close to their revenues.
When I started in another club [Barcelona] in 2003, our revenue was £123 million and United’s was £251 million. After three years our revenue was higher than United.

2 years ago, we were €200m behind the rags. Last year we were €110m behind them. According to this article, our revenues this season will be more than €400m for the first time. The rags were €423m in the last financial year, and while that'll increase this year, we're definitely closing the gap quickly. What do you imagine the difference will be next year when we're in the CL and they're not even in Europe? Their failure to qualify for the CL has wiped out any increase in shirt deals, at least for one season.

You haven't been paying attention. In 20 years time our revenues will be second to none. By the time the rest of football works out what we are doing, we will be years ahead.

Its big difference of course if we view it as a few years together like next 3 seasons if Nike wont improve our contract than its 3*12m for us and 3*75m for them, 36m vs 225m pounds.
