These reports are for the season just ended - and don't include the big corporate sponsorships that have been discussed eg Addidas and Chevrolet

Their shares are trading down 3% on the day
But the predictions for 2014-2015 will include the Chevrolet deal, won't they?

The Adidas deal won't be included until 2015-2016 but if they aren't in the Champions League it will only be a small increase on their current deal.

They will be in the CL next season. They will just spend more in Jan if they are struggling.

I foresee a right fucking demolition of QPR this weekend.

SCUM......

I just can't see them gelling together quick enough 6 new 1st team players over half a team i think it'll take a few weeks and then they start to play the big boys. Plus they've plenty of injuries.

Like the demolition of Swansea, Sunderland and burnley??
6 easy matches you rag twats boasted!!
2 pts out of a possible 9,,,
I predict a dull 0-0 again, 3-5-2 just isn't the one.
Comedy gold....

They've gone out on a limb this season. They're desperate for top 4 and anything less would spell disaster. All this talk of their squad doesn't bother me, they've spent a fortune and squad wise are behind us, Chelsea, and maybe arsenal if you're calculating balance. The big thing for me is Bacon face isn't there, and never will be again. Let's not kid ourselves they're always going to be around the top but that horrible old man was worth 15pts a Swanson on his own with his intimidation.

I see them hammering QPR, and the media wankfest after it will be unbearable. Just seen Giggs and Butt on sky saying retting rid of Welbeck doesn't mean they're turning their back on the famous youth academy. They live in a dream world they really do so embarrassing they still dine out on the class of 22 years ago. They've shown their true colours the past few weeks, everyone who's in touch with reality knows they can't compete on a level playing field, FFP was designed to get them back to the top and everyone can see it. Horrible fuckers hope they crash and burn.

It should do

They are still making reasonable profits and are reportedly contemplating further big signings in January. Two seasons or so ago no one thought that the Glazers would be able to win so many record contracts for man Utd with everyone assuming that Utd had maxed our Commercial Income

The future is unknown.

1) We don't know whether Utd will recover their CL place
2) We don't know what the impact of an extended absence from Europe will be on their bottom line. We know what the broadcasting revenues are, and somewhere I've read about penalty clauses in their shirt deals, but what about future deal generation. How resilient will that be? How long before failure on the pitch impacts on their ability to sell the club? Imponderables

Only dis.
I had my rag cousin round last night, he was being serious when he came out with "Utd are just responding to the market City created," to which I said bollocks and how many times have we broke the transfer record compared to Utd. He still wouldn't accept it.

when was the last time we made 70 million from a player ?? Its them cunts who have set the prices, not us.

They should be winning the league for the money they've spent. Talk of them not finishing in the top 4 is unrealistic

Last 4 years net spending
Utd: Between 270m and 350m
City: Between 90m and 120m
Can you see them finishing above City, Chelsea, Arsenal or Liverpool?

Stability and spending should produce results, but if they make the wrong managerial aoppointments and panic then they could mess it up

They still need defenders.
