Highest net spend in Europe last 5 windows (after Angel di Maria and Marcos Rojo transfers)
Rags £240m
PSG. £235m
Barca £155m
Chelsea £137m
Real £126m
City £107m
This provides conclusive proof of our owner becoming irreversibly bored.

...or trying to comply with FFP.

Only a matter of time before the Sikh fucks off back to Saudi.

Some reporter on twitter...

#Madrid tell #United, they want at least an opening bid of £75m for #DiMaria
Either taking them for suckers/desperate.
#Too much
united are desperate for a big signing to placate the restless natives - and Real Madrid will be all too aware of this.

Hopefully they won't forget "wouldn't sell them a virus" comment's :)
Not in their lifetime ;-)

What an appropriate username.

Our owner is a Muslim Sheikh and he's from Abu Dhabi!

75m they are taking the piss, maybe getting revenge for the won't sell them a virus compliment. :-)
Or the ref bribing accusations in 12/13, or just taking advantage because they know the rags are fucking desperate.

Surely a new back 4 is what they need? If they spend £75m on Di Maria I'm not sure it will address their issues. If Madrid can get that much for him they will have almost got back the money they gave the rags for Ronaldo, not a bad bit of business for them.

I can't see it happening though, it's not the United way to try and buy themselves out of trouble, they will rebuild the team with players from their academy!
