Nearly every Utd fan I know has been very disappointed with their performances on the pitch this season even when they've won. They have been giddy about winning six on the trot but most have said even then that the play has been poor. From this I can't really see what Van Gaal has done. If he didn't coach or organise them then I think if you sent their best eleven players out they would score a goal because of the attacking quality they have.

At the moment at least half the teams in the Premiership are playing better football than Utd, and if they perform against Utd then all could finish above them. West Ham, Arsenal and Southampton are all certainly better than Utd at the moment but aren't taking there chances in every game they have played, whereas Utd only need 2 or 3 chances a game and can win a match. They have been lucky up to now but have seriously underperformed as a team and the manager despite spending record amounts during the summer.

I'm more than happy with their false position tbh, rather than be in lets say 10th position and spend a load of money in Jan.

All depends who they sign in January, Godin and Strootman would be massive, but surely they've dropped too many silly points now.

Let's hope they do spunk another 150 mill and await UEFA's reaction so our lawyers can take them to the fucking cleaners.

Reported this morning that the futures of youngsters McNair, Blackett and Reece are under threat as the Tactical Turtle looks to do things the " ( new) Ushited Way" - ie fucking spend spend spend. Oh hang on thats the way its always been just the rag media and the plastics can't deny it now
