They are doing a spending comparison and adding the caveat the Di Maria does not count just because and Lukaku was a panic buy so we must of course take that into consideration. It still does not help their cause to soften the blow but if it helps them sleep then so be it.

Contracts were signed, players took to the field, i do not even understand the basis for arbitrarily deciding Di Maria does not count. Where do the caveats end in such a case, you have to smile a bit at it or just laugh out loud if your not very discreet.

Just had a read of that. Hilarious. Some of them actually do rate Mourinho. I just can't see why. They surely must be pissed off watching this shit week in week out. Some of them agreeing with the spending comments too. They just can't see that we had a plan with the signings. First Sterling, then Sane Stones and Jesus, then Walker and Mendy and Ederson....a clear plan with the emphasis on young hungry players and a style of play.
