I'm sure there are many mitigating factors but central will always remain Mou himself, he has never been the same since what happened in Spain facing Pep IMHO
The meltdowns are better than ever though, aren't they? :)

Well, they outspent us in the summer. They bought their 4th or 5th player in Fred to make Pogba world class. He moans he wanted a CB to replace the 90 million pair he bought in flapalot, sorry Lubdelof or what ever his name is and Baily and still have according to their fans the future of Englands defence in the best CB in the world Smalling and the new Bobby Moore in Jones. Add in millions spent on Rojo, Shaw etc its not as if they are playing youngsters from the accademy is it

well their academy is shit anyway. they are being left behind in every department. the only thing they are still ahead is revenue but that gap is closing.

Tbh, I never enjoyed this part of it - it was amusing years ago when he first started doing it, now he seems like someone suffering from senility. It's funny, he's negative on the pitch and off of it and that sort of negativity permeates and lingers - I prefer football without it, he's a distraction from the game for me

Completely agree.

Admired Mourinho for many years and his record is incredible but the last few years have seen his meltdown become almost complete and his mentality towards the game is now completely tiresome to watch and listen to.

He had a fear factor but its gone for virtually every team, manager and player now and he just doesn't have a different plan anymore im afraid.

Make no mistake, give Pep that uts squad and he pushes them all the way for the title whilst Mourinho cant do anything with them.

Huge gulf in ability between the two managers.
