Not surprising that they were awful against wolves when they started with such a narrow shape 4-2-2-2 against dynamic wingers and fullbacks. Didn't watch the game but from the highlights they didn't appear to stretch the pitch even though they changed formation to a back three.

Thought they should adopt the formation that Sporting CP played when Fernandes was playing behind Bas Dost.

Ronaldo isn't going to press or run about so he becomes the 18 yard box only striker, rotate with Cavani.

Sancho can play in Gelson's position and then have greenwood or Rashford play on the leftwing. Mctominay/Matic play as the holding DM and Fred/Matic/VDB play as the other one pushing up.

Has to be better than what they tried last night, what's the point of playing two veteran strikers up top together?

I know a photo is but a moment in time, but for the body language of several of em to look like this all at once, just even walking out, is heartwarming. Big Phil was up for it though.

Bloody hell, that looks like a team trudging off after a heavy defeat not one raring to go and fired up just before a home game.

Only at United could they squander all that money on transfer fees and massive wages and be a lot worse than last season :) honestly they are fooked and this wasn’t just about last night this as gone in all season ........... and the new messiah as got away with it over the last few week fortunate at Norwich even more fortunate at Newcastle and both are relegation fodder ................

The caf has fully turned in rag nick already. Should never have been appointed. Has no idea. Ever won anything. Etc.
Ronaldo also getting abuse. Should never have been signed. Hope he leaves in summer.
They should lay off him.
I've been told by a reliable source , that he came on an hour before kick off and if he had to do the siuuuuu , his tampon might of fallen out ;-))

The idiots keep trying to excuse themselves with the city / money thing, not realising that they are the living proof that it's not just about money. If things carry on for the next ten years as they have for the last, generations of economics and management students will be looking at the rags demise and our rise as a case study
