I was slightly worried about the signings they had In the summer, at the time.

but in the back of my head, I knew PR37 had dragged Juventus down and was also fighting the age clock. I knew sancho wasnt likely to be any good for at least a season. I knew little of varane, but was pining my thoughts to why would RM sell so cheap if he was that good.

and they still had the absolute issues from top to bottom in all other aspects of the club outside of the players.
Madrid were more than happy to sell Varane despite knowing they were also losing Ramos at the same time. That tells you everything

The new scousers
Had the serious misfortune of having one of them speak to me last night in the pub. I genuinely try not to speak to any if their fans who are under 50 - this one was. Absolute fucking bell end - telling me he knows they're shit, City play great football but they'll always be bigger.

Told him to fuck off, called him a clueless **** - reminded him that before the GPC they were mid table shite. He said he didn't know as he was born in 1984. He took the hint after a quick history lesson on his shite club.

I absolutely fucking detest them. Someone in the family who knew this tool has been told not to ever invite the **** out again. I was told 'yeah, he's a Rag, but he's a good lad'...... nope, he was a typical arrogant ****.

7th if the west ham game finishes as it is now. Which makes Leicester's two games in hand, and the decision yesterday, a little more interesting.

The BBC premier league table also has some nice new lines outlining 7th, I presume to show the Europa conference league place? Don't remember seeing that highlighted until very recently.

Are the rags too crap even for operation var to help them out now? Going to take some proper selective reviews to get them into Europe now. I won't begrudge them a victory against their supposed greatest rivals though in a couple of games time.
Yea because I'm sure that everyone that has a United connection from the director to Chinese shirt buying fans will be delighted that they have clinched a coveted Europa conference league place?!

It's hard to forget just how deluded they are ;)

Rat boy got giddy too, now he's going full on green and gold.

I remember when they went out the league cup to West Ham, I had a look at Rag Cafe and a lot of their fans were saying they had bigger fish to fry this season. That many repeated it that it convinced me I had underestimated them!

Varane's performances against City (in both CL games) were amongst the worst defensive displays I have ever seen. He was a laughing stock.

They end up in the conference league they have more chance of winning a trophy.
If they win that, then they also re-win the ‘we’ve won every trophy’ trophy again, which they won in 2017
im sure we’ll have that quoted to us as a mark of their ‘greatness’, rather than what it actually is, their decline
2008 CL
2013 PL
2016 FA
2017 EL & LC
2023 European conference
202X top 10 PL
202Y Above relegation PL

Sounds like a great night, well done.

Rather be better than bigger, any day of the week.
McDonalds are big, Wetherspoons are big, Olly Murs and Coldplay are big.
They are also all shit. Lowest common denominator.
Just like united

And one of them played for Manchester City.
I think City even recommended Matt Busby to them as a manager? In the same way as helping them in the early days of Manchester Central, loaning them players and a stadium, it was all thrown back in City's face. We did get Terry Cook though, who played a big part in City's promotion from the second division and helping City to where we are today.
