Pretty much nailed it there, however I'd challenge Erikson, who is still a top player and Malacia, I think there may be a decent full back in there somewhere, although he was out of his depth yesterday and got about the level of support from his winger/midfield that Edgehill used to get while he was being scapegoated.

Good tactic from City yesterday in terms of overloading both full backs and largely not playing through the middle, neither FB had any help and were constantly 2/3 v 1

Lots of 'chuck money at a big name and hope', lots of 'well they turned out to be crap in United's squad', lots of 'why and where are they now'.

Of that list, I'd say... Mata, Shaw, Blind, James & Eriksen, come across as decent (not in the footballing sense) chaps.

There's not many that come across as 'decent footballers at United'

Erikson used to disappear against us when we played Spurs and he was at the top of his game. He is/was a good player but not a great player.
Malacia - maybe.

I'd never heard of the malaria fella until I was driving back and he was mentioned on the radio.
I was quite surprised to find out I'd just seen him live
