The Rag fans are deluded about their ownership.

They are adamant that they don't want a so-called 'sugar daddy'.

But any commercial owner will take money out of the club, just like the Glazers do!

If you were investing 5 billion pounds, would you not want a return? Few, if any, people are so altruistic and so rich that they can spend 5 billion on a hobby and effectively write it off. Even in the bank, 5 billion notes bring in an awful lot of interest.

Sheikh Mansour may not be taking revenue out of City (yet) but he has already made a huge profit on his capital account. The thing is, he bought us cheap and built us up. United will be bought dear, and they have little hope of growth as they are already 'supported' by 650 million, or whatever made-up figure it is. Where can they expand? In another dimension?

It doesn't add up.

Who in their right mind would invest upwards of £6B on a failing business whose competitors are striding ahead!

And don't forget, the new owners will be looking for a return on their money or the value of their investmentto grow. How long will it take to even have a paper profit!

Another leveraged buyout, crank the debt levels even higher and so limit the available spend - this is my preferred outcome as it leads to a longer-term decline.
