So the media harp on about financial fair play and only spending what you earn… but in the case of the rags, spending what you earn isn’t the answer, it’s pumping 1.6 billion into the entire business… from a new wealthy owner.

Interesting logic. I imagine Neville would have made a big old case for the Saudi owners bringing back the ‘footballing project’ on MNF if they had turned up at the Meccano. Narrative would certainly have been different.

The core of their demise is down to one thing, entitled arrogance.

They have stood still on that sugar pedestal of "We're/this is Manchester United!" Thinking that was enough to keep them at the top forever. The fuckers still say it now in every discussion on the club. With every humiliation and defeat that mantra means less and less until they become like that milk advert from years ago.

They have become the ultimate mercenary club, something they once accused us off. A club full of whining overpaid prima donna's, of tick tock video idiots more concerned about their hairstyles and image than their actual profession, which is playing football. Overpaid and over hyped. Lacking character, courage and moral fibre. A collection of selfish self serving ego's rather than a team and all assembled at a cost of almost a billion pounds and massive wages.

The best thing of all is that we brought them to this level. Panicked by our success they threw huge amounts of money at over hyped wankers like Pogba, Sancho, Maguire and Sanchez and an over the hill narcissistic Ronaldo. All bought to prove that "We're Manchester United we get who and what we want." The perfect rope a dope trick by our well run club. Now they sit there head in hands wondering where it all went wrong. They shriek, cry, rant and wail on social media, exposing themselves for the ultimate overgrown spoilt pampered babies they are, who as a result of mummy media and daddy Ferguson over indulging them can't face any adversity and failure. At their head is that arrogant Neville, the ultimate spoilt baby, whining on and on in his boring nasal tones about the good old days and how a club like Manchester United shouldn't be in this mess. Well you are. Want to know why? Look in the fucking mirror.

The thing that pisses me off about United is that they are still in a position that 98% of all English clubs would die for.

Even through this so called disaster, they qualify for Europe and spend millions on players.

Yet you’d think they are on the verge of doing a Bury or Derby the way the media carry on.

That sums the fan base up for me. A bunch of entitled wankers who think they’ve got a divine right to success.

Totally agree, when you hear fans of these clubs moaning that it's a disaster and the worst ever I always think but have you tasted relegation? the worst ever season for these is finishing 7th and no cup glory.

No one knows exactly how old Cristiano is, but he's certainly a veteran as he can scarcely move and is useless for any work. His food, vet bills and treats cost us over 500k a week. Or perhaps little LUKE or 'Fatty' as he is known to his fans. Luke has had such traumas that he's a compulsive eater, and often eats as many as 10 large sacks of carrots a day.

Of course, you don't need to choose Harry, Cristiano or Luke. We have more than a dozen other donkeys some of them tragic cases. For example PHIL. Little Phil would have been put down anywhere else, as his vet bills are huge and he is rarely able to do any work. However, here at Old Trafford he is safe and can enjoy retirement with his friends.

We are open on alternate weekends and many Thursday nights. Why don't you come down and enjoy the sight of our donkeys running aimlessly about our large field in Trafford, near Manchester? We have several cafes and a big shop where you can buy an expansive range of donkey memorabilia. Remember, every penny goes towards the upkeep of our donkeys and enables us to bring in more hapless donkeys from around the world to our safe retirement home.

What the feral rats protesting (1958 group) haven't added up is any potential new owner will look at what they are doing to the current owners, who they have won trophies under, and think that would be me if it doesn't go well, my current business slandered and life made miserable and threatened. They also don't have a clue about the amount of money required and, that its only likely to be a sovereign wealth fund that could achieve it

There is a slight point to this opinion that the glazers need to be accountable to who they have appointed to run the club, to set the infrastructure and culture, we have khaldoon, Soriano and Txiki, plus top professionals throughout.
They seem to have employed commercial money makers and allowed the football side and stadium to look after itself with no structure of vision, buy players, spunk cash, appoint whoever, rinse and repeat.

Add to that factor the biggest mistake, not telling the pisscan to fuck off once he retired and stay away from the club, his presence and as you see with that whiney twat neville is people hanging on to a false narative united were always good, they were shite from 68-92 and before busby shite for most of their early life.

Everyone else fan wise knows they are full of shit, and until they accept that then deluded ex players will keep talking rubbish.

There’s more than a slight point to it. Yes, United have spent huge sums in recent years under the Glazers, but they could have sanctioned twice as much - it doesn’t alter the fact that they simply don’t know what they are doing.

I’m don’t know if it’s been pointed out before, but the genesis of the rampant poor decision making at the club can be pretty much pinpointed to the death of the old man in 2014, who despite some of the dubious ways he made his money, was clearly very canny, knew an opportunity when he saw it, and was good an extracting value out of an asset.

He won’t be the first or last self- made man whose offspring are feckless and lack the cutting edge of their father (or mother) because they’ve never gone to bed hungry, or simply that those abilities haven’t been passed down in sufficient quantity. Many a business empire that has been built by a driven man from a relatively poor background has suffered a severe reverse in fortunes when the baton has been passed to the next generation. Gerald Ratner being a case in point.

Their lack of infrastructure planning, inability to create an effective management structure, series of poor appointments and abject failure to deal with the Ferguson issue, which is clearly a cancer on the club, all point to a family who simply don’t have the tools to tackle the severe challenges that the club they own faces.

And no amount of investment in players is going to change that. The club is rotten to the core and the buck has to stop with them because they are the only people with the actual power to alter it.

They are completely fucking hopeless and long may it continue.
