Short term luck, that was a selfish transfer by the piss can, Van Persie was finished after his first season with them and he cost a fortune in wages, that was the start of the decline, a slow long, glorious decline.

I've said it many times: 2012-13 had everything to do with Ferguson's ego, nothing to do with the long or even medium term wellbeing of Manchester United. The Aguero moment really hurt him, hurt him personally. You could already see he was losing it at the Etihad derby. He bullied people for years, and the media and United fans just lapped it up. They didn't prepare the transition, and he did nothing whatsoever to help them prepare.
Ten years up the road, the result is this. They could spend years in the wilderness.

The reporter on SSN has just said the news in from United training today is Hagg has added 13km additional running to today's training as that's how much more running Brentford did yesterday.
I might be wrong but the maths seem off there.

Lee Hendrie is saying "5 years for United to challenge for top honours again? More like ten"
Ten years.
Ten years from now to win the title. It was ten years ago they last won it.
What was it we used to say on here? TICK TOCK
What price nufc win it before these cunts
