If anyone called him a rapist in public would he take them to court where all the evidence would be heard?

Personally I doubt it.

I would have slagged them off massively if they kept him there, so I can't have my cake and eat it. Well done for coming to the correct decision, even if it was naked self-interest that brought them there.

However, that statement is bullshit, basically exonerating him of everything. If you think he didn't do it, why are you getting rid of him you hypocrites?

I'm confused.

utd are saying those pictures of that girl injuries wasnt caused by Greenwood.

I might be abit simply but if Greenwood didnt attach the girl who did ? Or did the girl do it to herself, which I dont believe to be true.
At what point does the victim get charged for wasting police time, falsely accusing her boyfriend of GBH and rape and ruining his career at itd ?

I dont understand this, well I guess I do it's clear he did it allegedly
Prince Andrew…

That shit stain of a club deserve ZERO plaudits for the way they've handled this whole affair.

I honestly would not be in the slightest bit surprised if their club money men/lawyers played a part in brokering a deal which saw her withdraw the complaints against him.

In the U.K. if you slander or libel someone it is up to you to prove your accusations are true.
Good luck getting hold of any evidence.

They were shamed into this decision and now these cunty media guys saying the rags have done the right thing.

''As of Wednesday of last week, United’s plan was to bring Greenwood back. On Thursday and Friday morning, club executives devoted time to justifying their chosen path to employees angry at the direction of travel, with some even contemplating resigning or strike action. The club’s sentiment trackers, which monitor supporter feeling online, began to plummet.''

''At 9am on Wednesday, August 16, The Athletic wrote to United to inform the club of our intention to report that Arnold had told the club’s executive leadership in the first week of August that United intended to bring Greenwood back into the first-team squad.''

''It was also put to United that Arnold had intended to record a video to explain the decision to bring Greenwood back to supporters and staff. United’s men’s team manager, Erik ten Hag, and football director John Murtough — who is responsible for the men’s team, women’s team and academy — were both supportive of Greenwood’s return. Sources at the club, who would stay anonymous to protect their positions, had also indicated that some United employees felt a sense of “guilt and shame” because of the plans.''

SCUM.

I actually fear now for his partners safety. It has become clear that he will probably not have a career in top flight football because of this. These men who abuse their partners generally blame the partner rather than themselves. The realisation will hit him what he has lost. He is going to want to hit out because of this. His partner is In the firing line here. Also think her father has some blame as well because he undoubtedly played a big role in her dropping the charges allegedly.
