Biased opinions aside, I find it quite remarkable that after taking their captain and Rashford out of the team, they suddenly improve in every single measure. Possession, pressing, tackles won, goals, balls into the final 3rd etc etc..

I think playing Palace reserves in a game where their manager has already stated before the match he has no desire to compete and progress in that particular competition might have helped as well.

Imagine the team improving albeit against a changed Palace team by taking out the 2 players who hardly do any work off the ball.
