I used to work in finance at a similar establishment and Omar reminded me of one of the many incompetent employees who were promoted to be "executives" once it became part of an academy trust hence the analogy.
Promote someone above and beyond their ability, give them a huge payrise and a nice job title then wonder in disbelief when performance deteriorates further and fail to understand why the decent staff you did have are leaving in their droves.
Have you actually watched City this season?

Or do just fall for the rag propaganda machine, and believe all the shit that comes out of rag central?

You’re an ignoramus.

The only rational reply to this is that you should return to high school, BlueBoy.

Mainoo has won a trophy scoring the winner in a cup final versus city. In his first (half) season.

Lewis, who is a good player, is a squad member. A bit like Darren Fletcher. Or Phil Neville.

He may get a few more matches now Rodri's injured but otherwise he'd be a rotational player, used to plug gaps in easier matches at home.
Ah Mainoo, the guy is great with the ball.

He's completely useless when he hasn't got it.

As a Mid he's completely bypassed whether it's defence or attack. Doesn't have the positional play to understand where he should be heading on a turnover.

But he's english, is young, plays for united, so he's the media star, (now that the previous incumbent, Rashford, star is waning after his single season purple patch managed to keep that hype train going from his initial 'oh god, we have no more players left uninjured, what shall I do' LVG season.
The England match day squad inclusion, was predictable as it was inevitable. English - check, Young - check, Plays for united - check. Media overhyped - check.

File under 'Cleverley'.

Carson probably has more different trophies for City than the entire United squad has put together... see what a silly stat trophy winning is?

And so it continues, the latest in a long line of Trafford's Ministry of Truth trying to convince us that black is white.
Slimey Stone has apparently been 'reassuring' their fan base that all is well at the swamp.

I view the rags through blue-tinted specs so I am biased, but what of the people I mix with on a daily basis who happen to be Arsenal,Chelsea West Ham fans, who see the dross served up by ten bob and his mismatched millionaires and call it for what it is? I'm assuming they are wrong as well, Mr Simon -arse-licker extraordinaire- Stone? You and the highly bigoted and prejudiced media hacks you represent have been spinning this false narrative that the rags are once again 'turning the corner' for so many long and laborious years now, but when are are we going to see evidence of it? When are we going to see justification of your claims that 'Ten-Bob' is the right man for the job and that -given time- he will put the rags at the top of the Premier league? When are you going to accept that fooling the mentally inept and breathtakingly stupid followers of your hideously plastic club is one thing, but fooling the entire footballing community of the rest of the world is another?

A lot of money has been spent by your plasticine club - no, let's tell it how it is, an absolute bastard hell of a lot of money has been wasted by your club on players and managers in the last decade, and you think your trophy cabinet and current standing in the Premier league has justified this over-extravagance? Rhetorical question, because you MUST believe it if you are so intent in telling the Far Eastern market that it's true.

So would it not be the honourable thing to placate your followers in West Bengal, Bangladesh etc by telling them the truth about your club - that you haven't got a pot to piss in because a poisonous despot from Glasgow handcuffed you to some American shysters, and these Yank conmen have subsequently been saddling your club with debts that are now way beyond their control?

If Lewis was at your shitstain of a club he'd be your best player, by a distance, the reason he's a squad member here (arent all players members of the squad) I assume you mean not first choice which is another one you've got wrong is because we've got miles miles better players than you lot have
