So they've bought another striker who scored 11 goals in Serie A, yet are somehow expecting him to double that number in a much tougher league. I've heard some of them talking about the golden boot and bringing up Hojlund's name as a contender. He scored 10 league goals last season ffs.

My social media page had a post about naming the proposed new ground...My comment that it isn't being planned for Gorton or Wythenshaw sailed miles over their heads, so followed it up with how I am looking forward to going to the game at Old Trafford on Wednesday.....I expect half of the clowns to log in to the alternative comedy channel to watch the game I am going to.
It wouldn't make any difference, the officials and governing bodies aren't even trying to hide the corruption and favouritism anymore, either on the field or off it.
Being light in midfield isn't really much of a problem when you play park the bus hoofball... 8 defenders and 2 quick lads upfront are all you need.
He wasn't ever close to be being the "main man" at City, was something like 6th or 7 th down the pecking order, yet walks straight into united as their CEO.
I admit I'd never even heard of him when he was at City... now all of a sudden his practically a household name thanks to the usual sycophantic hyperbole from the rag loving media.
I wouldn't know if he is or not, his monotone droning is so relentlessly boring I find it impossible to actually mentally absorb anything he's saying.

Exactly. In the press, when he got appointed at united he was described as City's COO. He wasn't, he was the COO of football operations. My understanding was he reported in to Txiki rather than Soriano. How that qualifies him to be a CEO is beyond me.
