And it still is. Whether that be on a Sunday morning or a Premier League match.

Just so happens the little bastard doing it was a Rag.
I can recall a couple of two footers where the perpetrator was horizontal but about a foot off the ground so any shin in the way was in mortal danger. I seem to recall a couple of Dipper tackles v EFC. One was certainly Dirk Kuyt. Can't recall whether EFC actually got a free kick for it! Yeah, it was Kuyt on Phil Neville.

He can be forgiven for that one.....

In my day of reffing we were told jumping in 2 footed and out of control was a red every time no matter what the consequences.
I'd like anyone from PGMOL to explain how that is not deemed excessive force

Reckless is when a player acts with disregard to the danger to, or consequences for, an opponent and must be cautioned. Using excessive force is when a player exceeds the necessary use of force and endangers the safety of an opponent and must be sent off.

This is what pisses me off the most, they never have to justify their decisions to anyone. In what sort of multi-million pound business can one person decide what is going to happen and what is not going to happen and not be answerable for the outcome?

Fucking corrupt to the core.

Like all City supporters, I’m a person of taste and culture. I’m on a long weekend away in Suffolk with Mrs B and yesterday we headed up the A11 to Norwich to visit the Sainsbury Centre.

At the desk a young lady described the layout and warned us that their current exhibition on photojournalism contained a number of extremely distressing images. At that moment, the only thing I could think of was the rags’ team photo.

(Yes, some of the actual photos were pretty grim as well)
