There are so many sponsorship deals being done, all with so many factors to take into consideration from both sides of any deal... it would take a whole army of the most qualified business analysts, auditors, accountants to try and assess them and even then "perceived value" of any deal is still largely subjective and open to personal opinion.

I agree with this & it’s always a simplistic approach to marketing. There could be a very good reason they need their brand recognised or trusted. Who knows, the technology may be used by the military, maybe in a genocide so it could be a kind of ahem sports-washing. There’s lots of reasons not all business to public sales.
 
The good news if any City fan wants to rewatch the car crash that was Rags 0, Sp*rs 3 is that I'm almost certain Spurs will bring out a commemorative DVD of the match.

The players don’t fancy it after a few bad results and their heads go. They know the stick they are in for on socials and ex rags like Neville. Already they have no chance of a title and in a few months no chance of top 4. So they swan about not giving a shit, as the expectation at the swamp is titles and this is united blah blah blah…it’s the stuff of blue dreams.

No manager will get them back playing top level consistent football. The level of competition has risen and city have literally destroyed them. The market for players is not available as other clubs can compete and offer good wages. No more bullying the league and cherry picking because most players want pep or dips or arse or hell even the basket case that is Chelsea.

Not to mention the rest of the league is doing ok financially and don’t need to sell.

So yea they are fucked for the foreseeable. Neville was on about that he is ok his team don’t win all the time…sure lol. Also that they will once again have their day in the sun. Well that day is looking farther and farther away.

I genuinely believe that our emergence and growth has fucked them up so much it’s no wonder they hate us on all media platforms.

So the next time we are under attack from any red **** over finance or whatever else just remember what it is really all about…namely that we (little city) have consumed them with jealousy and hate because we destroyed their legacy and their future. Talk about pissing on chips!

Ahh, but you underestimate the powers of Webb and his pgmol cronies doing their VARry best to ensure their cash cow stays relevant. They will be assisted to a minimum top 4 place: extremely questionable decisions, bizarrely implemented rule changes during the game, penalties given to them faster than the manna from heaven the Israelites feasted upon, and so much injury time for them to either equalise or win, their games will last longer than your average Martin Scorcese film.
Every cup game they are involved in they WILL be drawn at home to a non-league side, whose best player will be unavailable for the game for some reason or other. No points gained, but a good few bob for the Glazers to pocket again.

Their fan base (which consists solely of the duelling banjos bloke from Deliverance and a coach full of window-lickers from a nearby institute funded entirely from Gordon Ramsey's overflowing swear box) will be grinning toothlessly as yet another Sly TV camera glides past their upturned, bewildered faces, capturing every last pixel for eternity.
