United are in a debt spiral.
Due to their own insistence on having FFP/PSR to stop City, they cannot even inject their own money. (that's even if they had any or wanted to)
They have shifted debt. Hidden debt. And even invented new £70m debt rules just for themselves. (Covid allowance)
Yet they are still in a debt spiral.

They will be without Champions league football for two seasons, further reducing sponsorship/income.
I await an announcement of "renegotiation" from their sponsors to cover this.

There are NO signs that thing on field are improving. In fact, things are also spiralling downhill there to.
How are they supposed to attract top/new talent with no Champions league football other than offer silly wages with money they haven't got ?
The answer is they can't.

I think they will fail FFP/PSR, but watch how the league(s) will look after them. They will get the minimum penalties allowed. Maybe even another "special allowance".
Wouldn't surprise me if the Prem announces a pause or abolishment of the whole thing.

I think they are in bigger trouble than is being reported...
Let’s fucking hope so!

thats exactly what would happen if one of the PL darlings were found to be deep in the shit, they would suspend PSR due to a revamp and bin any charges from that point on,then start off again so letting them off the hook

I am of the view that they are being aided, one way or another. They have a colossal debt hanging over them, an absolute mind-bending amount, but they have had that for years and years, since at least when the Glazers turned up.
But they have still managed to outspend most other Premier league clubs.

In our world, if someone has a lot of debt and they default on it, they'll find it extremely difficult to get a clear credit rating, so hire purchase and things of that nature will be forbidden to them. But the brain-scrambling amount of debt they have accrued in such a relatively short period of time seems not to have hindered them in any way.

Personally I think both the Premier league and PGMOL have a lot of questions that need answering.

I'm sure one of our resident finance guys will reply to this (there are some very good ones on here) to say that debt isn't a bad thing in business, it's more about how it's managed or how it's distributed around your business and how you finance that debt .............I think.....

Abolish PSR and FFP and they can kiss the next 20 years goodbye as us and Newcastle mop everything up.

Damned if they do, damned if they don't. We've basically taken everything from them and replaced them at the head of the table. They will never catch us up

Innovation the key to improve Finances.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe has revealed a world first as he seeks innovation to improve TWGC finances.
For the 2025/2026 season the Red Devils will use Roman numerals on the back of players shirts.
Deligt will wear IV, Maguire wears V , Martinez VI whilst Luke Shaw will wear the XXXXL shirt.

Brilliant!

For Villa to take him on there must be one hell of a 'sweetener' involved somewhere. Full details from the swamp will of course never be released, but I think the rags are paying a lot more of his wages than they are letting on. Probably some kind of non-disclosure agreement with Villa - has to be.
Anyone who pays “Hip Jay Ronnie B” more than £50 quid a week is off their tits . just maybe Emery has a secret love child with Ronaldo’s mother , anyone who wears their mothers dressing gown at Madison Square Gardens is a complete basket case , or fish fingers in a basket in his case. I’ll bet Simon Stone is wiping tarte sauce off his chops as we speak.

That's the line that has been said for years.
As long as they can service a debt, then there is no problem.

I think servicing the debt is becoming impossible.
Hence scrooges extreme cost cutting exercise(s).

You suck on the devil's cock long enough, someday you have to swallow!

Well they have already been bailed out by that bogus covid allowance. Thought a club couldn’t lose more than 130 million over three years?? They smashed that and nothing happened, no penalty. Shock of shocks!!

IF they abolish PSR can you see Scruffy Jim dipping into his own pocket to finance the signings that would need to get them into the top 4 never mind winning the league? Besides City, Newcastle Chelsea et al are in a better position to spend and are more attractive clubs-higher up the league, challenging for trophies, Chimps league every season.

They are indeed in the shit. But like the chicken shit heel wrestler they will cheat and use any underhanded methods to try and dine at the top table. Just hope they aren’t given any lifelines…

Are you guys not worried
Scruffy jim as a plan named
OPERATION TWENTY ONE.
It's a well thought out plan for the Rags to win their 21st title.
Am worried sick (struggling to join off )
Mind the Gap SCUM

Even if PSR/FFP is scrapped it would just mean them being screwed even more on transfers & wages. When we defeat the charges it wouldn't suprise me if they pushed to revive the Super League

My mate has just had a book published, ex- season card holder before retiring to Denmark...

Anyway, have a look at the synopsis in the link.....top berting. Chances are it'd not get through British publishing companies.

Just seen a post on Instagram from a Rag fan showing Shaw's injury record at the Rag. Fucking hell he's missed a lot of football. Also reckons they've paid him £58m when injured.
