I remember a few Rags getting giddy about that.
I said at the time they're more like The Barron Knights.
It's funny how they sneer and come out with all this "dirty oil money" bollocks but were wanking themselves silly when they thought Sheikh Jizzycum was going to buy them and invest in the way Sheikh Mansour has done at City.
They've not gone away.

They'll play the long game, waiting until the whole scene has gorn tits up them make a once and for all knock out bid for a majority share with an option for a full takeover.

Softly Softly catchee monkee !!

The Barron Knights or The Fake Sheikh ?
They remind me of us in the 90's.

All owners are business men at the end of the day and the cost to just buy that shower of shit before you even think about the amount of money that needs spending you're talking billions for what return?.
When you look at how much it cost to buy City and Newcastle, it doesn't make sense to spend billions on what is basically a busted flush.

The Glazers are not going anywhere soon. The plastic followers can dream all they wish about a knight astride his noble steed, galloping triumphantly into the swamp with billions and billions of pounds in his saddlebags, intent on saving the club from the greedy clutches of the American bad-guys - but it is not going to happen. Not in our lifetime.

It's been mentioned many times before that any new owner will want to go over the accounts from top to bottom: every minuscule detail will be forensically examined by a team of the best finance experts the world has to offer. It will not be a cursory glance at a page of figures and a handshake to seal the deal.
And given the fact that the Glazers have hidden their financial dealings in the Cayman Islands since the takeover, it would appear they have something that they do not want the world to know about, hence the secrecy.
After all the years of subterfuge and financial wheeler-dealings, would they suddenly open up the books to reveal what they have been doing undercover for so long? I wouldn't have thought so.

That's why I say the Glazers won't be going anywhere soon, because they can't. They and the club itself have so many skeletons in the closet the true state of their accounts and details of their business dealings will not be made public in our lifetime

Not in my lifetime? ;)

Come on toffees! Can see this broken man walking if they get beat today, and then starts the yearly ‘until the end of the season’ merry go round.
Their latest new messiah is trying to play to a system with players who aren't suited to it and blaming everyone else for their shit results.
They could do with someone who could come in and get a tune out of a bunch of players he didn't sign to drag them out of the bottom quarter of the table.
The guy who took over Everton a few weeks ago has managed to do that and would fit the bill.
I think he's called David Moyes.

From being on suicide watch there now appears to be a positive attitude from the rags. They can see the new green shoots under Amorim. They can feel it in their water, starting today. We'll soon find out.

Just seen a bit of his press conference on the BBC sports news, he looks a mess and very uncomfortable wringing his hands all the time.

Think he'll either do a Coppell as you say or get binned in the summer even though they're skint, as his points to game ratio from this season would have then down in 25/26.

Have they turned yet another corner?
I never get tired of hearing how they're back before it turns to shit and I get to laugh at them again.
Rinse and repeat from the deluded bunch of clowns.

PSR is dead in the water.
Mufc will not be allowed to fail PSR, an indication of this was the speed the PL announced no club had failed PSR for the previous 3 seasons in January.
With APT also a disaster the PL cannot afford to leave themselves open to litigation, therefore they will advise or warn rather than fine or deduct.
