Gerrard for most overrated, the man mastered the art of running around a lot and kicking the ball very hard.

There was a great player in him but staying at Liverpool hindered his and their progress.

Lampard was by far the superior player and had he played on the continent he'd be compared to the likes of Pirlo, Xavi etc.

For some reason I'm convinced Leroy Sane will end up back at City one day, probably after Pep has gone.

To be fair, a massively talented player with serious mental health problems that preventing him from fully realising his potential is how I'd sum him up.

But ultimately, yeah. For such a talented player, an FA Cup medal and a couple of Scottish titles isn't a great haul.

Pep and Fergie both had lots of average enough players in their squads over the years who they made into serial winners through great management.
People think because City have spent a lot that their squads over the years have been full of world class talent. I disagree slightly on this.
Same with Ferguson who had the likes of John O'Shea, Wes Brown and Phil Neville winning multiple trophies

I can't take to Vincent Kompany as a person, the football side I can't question, absolutely phenomenal, not sure what it is but there's something about him I just don't like.

Totally. It shows me you don't need a top player in every position, you need a good squad that works for each other. It's the mindset of the player is what we buy.

And zinny is a good example, on top of not being the best he's a worker and a sort of talisman for the rest of the squad in that they will fight for him. Squad cohesion and fighting for each other is THE most important thing, not talent necessarily.
