FABIANO - top choice, better coup than Eto'o considering his age, but probably the hardest to get.
VAGNER LOVE - is he really a Hughes type player?
FORLAN - his record in Spain is impeccable but would be a gamble in the PL after last time.
ROSSI - don't the rags have first refusal?
ADEBAYOR - good choice, prem proven, we've had interest before, depending on Milan it could be likely
DROGBA - I can't see it happening.
HIGUAIN - Does anyone know if he's in Pellegrini's plans? transfer listed or not?
AGUERO - won't come I'm afraid
DZEKO - has signed a new deal at Wolfsburg
IBRAHIMOVICH - can't see it happening
TREZEGUET - too old

from that list there's only 2 prem-proven strikers....Adebeyor has got to be the best bet of the 2...better temperment than Drogba...6 years younger...better in the air...and even though both disappear for the African Nations Cup, Togo( if they're even in it), will last as long as Joey Barton does before his next yellow card.

We are signing eto'o, tevez and terry! 30,000 of us rush out and buy season tickets. Suprise, suprise they all fall through when our credit cards have been swiped and we end up with dean Ashton, chris samba and tugay.
Anyone remember many years ago we were supposed to sign john barnes in his prime, we ended up with Wayne Clarke. Season ticket sales had increased though on the strength of the rumour and it was said then that at least we were being linked with such players.
Well fuck being linked with them let's actually sign them.
Typical city eh mr. Cook.

In all honesty, it is a well known tactic by some clubs; get linked with exciting players during the season ticket selling time.
Good shout really, apart from the players ending up with of course.
