**UPDATe new art piece PAGE 12** fave Iconic City Image...My Old Man has started doing 'City Art'

1-4. Pissed it down iirc. Remember seeing it kick off in the Main Stand at the end of the game.
I was on a sponsors day out with my brothers, father and grandfather that day, typical City, my granddads face was almost apologetic for getting us all involved.
What a shit day, met Jimmy Frizzel and Swales looked me up and down and said hello, the rest I have tried to forget, shame, shame, shame, lol.

Why is Joe Corrigan stood in a hole?

A picture speaks a thousand words. A club picture with the backdrop of, dodgy drainage, ventilation grilles a cheap looking transit van. Welcome to Manchester City a club on the verge of decline

Ain't that the truth, though? Everything about it, right down to the detail of Skip wearing trousers that a charlatan snake oil seller might be wearing in the wild west, screams "This is a club that's about to get stuffed".

GDM highlighted last night but I never fully picked up on it. Look at Peter Swales at the front of the picture with the actual team as a back drop. Its like him creating an order of importance at the club with him, and his ego, having to be at the front of the picture with other directors, players having to stand subserviently behind. I could imagine the North Korean leader having a similar picture.

It was.

Imagine if we could re-create that photo with the current Chairman, board, management, players and staff outside the front entrance to the Etihad. Now that would be iconic!
Its a thin a4 type. Booklet from memory .carnt remember what I had for tea last night but fember a book from 40 years ago !

What about the women holding a mop in front of her face or the haircut on the bloke next to Bernie Halford?

Great find that picture GDM, I have never seen it before. It really is another world. Those gates remind me instantly of the demos and Brian Who?
Ace picture, you missed the Peaky Blinder on the left hand side
