I have repeatedly denounced political violence and have said I would never want Trump to be harmed as I am a pacifist, a humanist, it is not justice, and would only empower him and his dangerous ideology, anyway.What is going on with this thread? A presidential candidate has survived an assassination attempt and posters start arguing? This is a significant event, a rally supporter was killed and so was the gunman, it is disappointing that a more concerned sympathetic approach has not been adapted on this forum, no matter what you think of Trump.

Really? What was the Mets conversation about? While they are ins wild card spot I would hope they would be sellers coming up to the trade deadline. They would get mullered in a series against a good team. As for Trump, if indeed you think he is on par with Hitler and if you think should he win this would be the last democratic election for a while, then the gun persons ( see what I did there) actions are totally justified and you support what they did, then come right out and say it. That’s all.

So, yes, I will be honest and say I'm sorry this near-martyrdom all but guarantees his election in November. Only then will we see how close he gets to Putin.
