Kamala is not that well-liked in the black community and is seen by many as a token.

Biden’s own rep with black voters is stronger than hers, by virtue of being Obama’s VP for 8 yrs and him getting the nod!

Harris has been massively handicapped by needing to be in DC full time until November to be the deciding vote in the Senate.

Since then she's been doing a lot more vice-president-y stuff and if Dems continue to gain in 2024, I imagine they'll spend 4 years really pushing her to the front and making her more popular.

Her perceived oratory skills have disappointed, and I’m not sure anyone is sure what she brings to the ticket…other than ticking TWO BIG DEMOCRATIC BOXES.

With Joe in his 80’s, I’m not sure Kamala being a literal heartbeat from the Presidency is going to work in her, or Joe’s, favor in 2024. She was different as a VP CANDIDATE than she is now, as a known quantity and Joe being a loooong 4 yrs older.

I would be interested to see a split screen of Joe 2019 vs Joe 2023. I’m not sure it would inspire confidence in him for the 2024-28 term!
