Just came here to post. Trump will claim he’s the “peacemaker.” Bongo will claim he was ordered to direct ICE personnel to carry out their duties as they did by Noem or whatever; she will in turn blame . . . who? Hopefully that finds its way back and up ala Watergate but in this day and age would anyone even care?

No, no — “walking back” some stupid shit-ass decision doesn’t count as common sense. To count, you have to have made the original decision using common sense and executed it in a common sense way. You can’t set fire to a building and then claim calling the fire department is common sense.

So he is indeed the deal-maker. Just not his own deals, lmao. Now he is losing his shit because the world called his bluff and said FUCK YOU MAGA! We'll trade without you and your 25% no 50%, no 250%, no 500% tariffs.

By the end of the decade the world trade and economic links would have shifted so much away from the US that will resemble the sudden loss of power of the British empire after the 2nd world war.

Americans are too self centered and cocky to recognize it. Too many decades with too much power made then overestimate their capabilities. The new world can live without them.

And people will look upon Americans visiting overseas with just as much suspicion as they would Russians.
