I'm not sure people actually understand the gravity of this. For a US government official, let alone the President to allegedly reveal secrets of US military submarine operations, including the position of the submarines and number of nuclear warheads is UTTERLY INSANE.

If that had been a member of the military they would be locked up in solitary confinement pending trial.
