Safe to say they've gone beyond that and executions are likely happening behind the scenes. Heck they're brazen enough to do it in open daylight too and their base supports it based on the polling.

I saw a post on either Insta or Threads the other day of a journalist, or political commentator outside a detention centre filming. You could hear crying and screaming in the background and he had drones (likely filming) him from above.
Can't find the post or indeed verify it but I did fear the worse and it's absolutely not a leap of imagination right now :(
 
I spotted an immigration van whilst walking through Northenden on Saturday.
Can't say I've noticed one before, and presumably they've been around for some time. I likely picked up on it due to the ICE situation in the US.
Not sure if it was a performative action or was in operation...who knows. Struck a chord though.

Do they undergo background checks, psychological profiling etc.
The situation is so insane, would it be possible for Muslim brotherhood extremists to be recruited by ICE?

They’ll be checking for illegal workers in sone of the local retail outlets and restaurants.

Seems all the Proud boys who were pardoned by him were given jobs. The only vetting was the question; "Are you loyal to President Trump?"

Yeah absolutely.
Only picked up on it as ‘immigration officers’ are much more of a world wide news events these days.
Very much like when you notice the same car on the street as you drive yourself (without the ironic wave to the other driver…although that might only be VW Beetles. Which brings us back to the Nazi party…)

At least UK immigration officers aren't routinely armed and therefore less likely to pepper spray someone in the face before unloading a magazine of 9mm into someone doing nothing more than pointing a camera at them.

I have never understood why people don’t stand up and admit they were wrong. I don’t understand their fear. Because I’m usually right but sometimes wrong, and have no issue saying “I don’t know” (and tend not to wade into discussions where I have no command of facts), and try to be quick to hold my hand up when I am wrong, I don’t seem to have these problems.

I see such stubbornness of opinion as a horrible human weakness.
