Jordan is toast for the third time...

What's the point of calling a vote? Jordan's got to know he doesn't have the votes and is likely to lose more votes. I can't see what the upside is for him calling a vote he knows he's going to lose, whereas the downside is that he loses even more votes and pisses off more Republicans.

The former US president had been threatened with jail after a judge said he broke a gagging order not to make public comments about members of court staff. The Republican's legal team said it had been an "inadvertent" mistake.

MAGA scream about a two-tiered justice system but if this was a regular old citizen they'd be locked up for this. Although I think Trump is going to be toast ultimately and is going to jail I'll bet you he gets away with it.
