I mean there is no way he has the money - he is trying Hard now to get his daughter in law the chair of the RNC with the open message that every penny nationally going forward will go directly to Trump.

There is 2 reasons behind that.

1 is that wile he will win the nomination easily the RNC can step in and change the candidate at a later date. So if he is convicted / jailed later in the year he wants to have full control of the RNC.

Then he makes far more from political grift than property so as you say. He wants to take over the finances of the GOP.
