Why is it uberhaupt such a binary thing?

As a person who is a staunch supporter of Swiss style direct democracy, and wary of the potential pitfalls or the excessive "carté blanche" power that politicians get in representative democracy, i always argue that those who find themselves in a political environment where they are inclined to vote someone purely on the basis of "he's not as bad as the other guy" ought to really rethink their compass and maybe reject the very form of democratic system they live in to favor one where they take far more of of all that responsibility and power to themselves. But ultimately thats is what this is about, when the people cannot but grant their full confidence and political agency to a person for the next years with little oversight to it or control of it, the consequences of voting someone who is potentially outright dangerous creates a far larger concern than to alternatively lend that 1 vote to someone who is expected to persue less things that are obectionable. The latter observation is not uncommon for most representative forms of democracy.

The way that remark practically seems made, or what might be perceived disingenuous with it, is that if we are kinda forced to make this binary choice of preference, that in that sense its not necessarily ever so that we can argue for one candidate to be the right one irrespective of the other being "worse", nor should it be less valuable to mostly emphasize the degree by which the other option is the worse. As things tend to go in representative democracy, people simply vote for their perceived least shitty option, not for one they necessarily so much agree with.

For the purposes of the comparison, I provided a relatively poor potential outcome of Biden’s second term and provided an exceedingly realistic outcome of Trump’s infinite term, should either be re-elected, in order to illustrate which is actually a danger to America and the western world more broadly.

I don't know why they(the west) insist on this "Uyghur genocide" so much.
In fact, it has served to make the Chinese people more supportive to their government.
This propaganda is so cheap, poor quality.
