Train is not worth it. Hire a car in the summer and drive across the rockies from Calgary to Vancouver, stopping wherever and whenever you want. Lots of great scenic spots on the way, some glaciers, lakes, towns and then Wine in the Okenagan. Vancouver is overrated, but head over to the island from there.

Lots of fishing on offer at the right time of the year.

As for skiing, our favourite spot is Panorama, BC (about 4 hours from Calgary). Like having your own private ski hill (and you can heli ski from resort if of interest). Lake Louise can be ok (stay in Banff though), but Sunshine is overrated. Big White and Sun Peaks also good. Whistler is a zoo, and charging $300 per day for lift tickets.
 
Anyone think when Trump sells Ukraine down the river he will test the waters by going for Greenland k after pulling out of NATO, I think it’s on the cards now.

I take on board the lack of intention of the writers of the constitution. Obviously gunning down children was not what they had in mind.

However I'd be interested to see how a well regulated militia would pan out in this day and age.
 
Apart from wine and Teslas, what can I boycott? Not bothering with American owned stuff like Kraft, but am I buying American without realising it?

He said Ukraine started it and has frozen them out of the 'peace' talks.

When you factor in everything he's ever said and done regarding Russia, this 4 year old article from the Guardian looks highly plausible. I think the USA know it, and their is nothing they can do about it, which put's the UK and other NATO and intel sharing nations in a bit of a shitty situation.

Well I expect forces from within to deal with this if that’s the case, you can’t tell me the cia don’t know if this is true or not, this guy needs taking out somehow.

Do you know how devastating it would for the USU to reveal that their 'legitimately' elected president and de facto leader of the free world is a Russian asset and has been for 40 years? I doubt it will ever happen.

The problem is, if the CIA are aware (and I've no reason to suspect they aren't), for them to reveal that they know without doubt that this is the case, they would not only have to reveal their own methods and sources, but they would have to carefully consider any potential second and third order effects before any 'big reveal'.

Interesting I'm banned from the Trump thread having read far worst stuff than I've ever put.
anyhow, the biggest problem we have is that Trump is being cheerlead by some of the richest and most powerful people on earth - Bezos, Musk and Zuckerberg. what hope is there for anyone else trying to stand up against these lot.

Funnily, i'm also banned from the Trump thread. I only wished him dead. I didn't say/encourage anybody to actually do it.
As you say, i keep reading way more comments saying far worse.
I think a moderator there has gone a bit power mad! (or doesn't understand dry ironic humour)
Is it worth contacting the site owner if i promise to stop wishing him dead? Trump, not the moderator!
(Just in case said moderator is reading, this is dry ironic humour)
