He's that worried about his chances he actually wants people to be denied their vote.

Its a pretty big part of his plan. First time since 1968 we have had an election without the voting rights act being in place. Absolutely disgusting what they are doing on the ground today.

So you know more than 97% of the scientists who looked into climate change then...
If 97% of scientists think there isn't going to be another ice age then it appears 97% of scientists are frauds. I didn't say global warming isn't a thing or couldn't be a big problem.
We're not due an ice age for 150 million-200 million years so I wouldn't write off something that could leave us all completely fucked in the next 25-200 on that basis.
Ah right, quite a bit left yet to keep killing each other for outdated energy sources then. I was going off what I can remember from a historian/archaeologists book on the formation of Britain and Ireland, might have remembered totally wrong, or he might have been referring to a "mini Ice age" that tends to happen too. Yeah obviously it needs addressing, I think certain places like regions near the Sahara, Americas would feel the initial effects before the likes of us (or at least where it becomes a problematic effect - who knows we might be able to grow olive fields just outside Manchester and Dublin). It's just that when you read knowledgeable people's writing on things like ice ages, it puts global warming in a less significant perspective - don't know if you can tell but I tend to put more thought into the fullest picture I can grasp and potential of things.

Yes. In fairness he didn't start this. Generally there is a view in the political world that when more people vote Republicans tend to lose. So presidential year elections generally doesn't favor Republicans.

I don't think that belief is necessarily true, bur Republican operatives do and are always pro any measure to reduce voting ours, ease of voting, closure of voting booths and in States with early voting they target certain days they try not to have voting I.e. weekends when low income workers are more likely to be able to vote and Sundays where minorities, especially black churches do post service voting drives.

This problem is not limited to Republicans though, but they are often moat like to partake in such anti democracy actions.

For as long as American politics continue to be about identity, Rebuplicans will have to continue suppressing vote to stand a chance.

Luckily for them they are about 2 cycles away from a shift in how people vote.

You live on an (apparently) overpopulated island nation dependant on a warm ocean current and you're not worried about our surrounding sea area getting flooded with iceberg melt?

I think you need to read a hell of a lot more, your science is very simplistic view. For example there is every chance that Britain will be one of the most effected areas of the world, as a shift or end of the gulf stream would see temperatures drop significantly not rise.
